The N.A. Chairman said following the issuance of the Resolution in November 2017, the N.A. issued Resolution 56/2017/QH14 focused on continuing the reform of the state administrative apparatus to be leaner and more effective. This also includes proposed tasks and solutions to renewing and restructuring the organizational apparatus of the N.A., its bodies, the N.A. Standing Committee and the N.A. Office.

He directed relevant agencies to conduct a proactive and urgent review of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW with a serious, democratic, and scientifically rigorous approach. He underscored the importance of an honest and objective assessment of strengths, shortcomings, obstacles, underlying causes, and lessons learned.

The top legislator tasked the N.A. Vice chairpersons with leading discussions with agencies under their purview to ensure clear communication and alignment on proposals for renewing and streamlining the organizational apparatus, thus fostering consensus and uniformity in the process.

Proactive efforts to refine laws governing the organization and operation of the N.A. and its bodies, the N.A. Standing Committee and N.A. Office. A key focus will be on cultivating a contingent of capable and credible officials, civil servants, and public employees, especially leaders, who possess the skills and integrity necessary to meet the demands of the new context.

Acknowledging the limited time available before submitting the review to the Party Central Steering and the substantial workload ahead, Man urged all relevant agencies to strive to complete these critical tasks effectively.
