Leaders pay tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh
Vietnamese leaders paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi on January 25 in celebration of the 87th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930).
The leaders included Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Tran Dai Quang, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, and National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, among others.

The activity aims to commemorate late President Ho Chi Minh, the founder of the Party, who made great, remarkable contributions to the country’s revolutionary cause.
The leaders later offered incense at the Heroic Martyrs Monument on Bac Son road and Mai Dich cemetery in Hanoi.
The birth of the Communist Party of Vietnam on February 3, 1930 was an important historical event and a turning-point in the history of the Vietnamese revolution, marking a milestone in the country’s development.
