With the theme “Vietnam Agriculture – Towards Comprehensive Development and Modernisation”, the exhibition in AgroViet 2011 will introduce to viewers various documents and models, photos, documentaries, reports of typical construction of new rural areas.

A 200 square meter area in AgroViet 2011 is for Vietnam key export products including rice, coffee, raw and processed cashew nuts, black pepper, green pepper, canned vegetables and fruits and seafood.

Besides, numerous visuals and documentaries relating to the implementation of Resolution 26 NQ – TW on agriculture, rural areas, farmers, major national programs on building new rural areas and typical models nationwide will be displayed as well.

The exhibition includes 2 main areas; the first one shows results of building new rural areas and other introduces numerous documentaries to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the day when President Ho Chi Minh signed a Decree to establish Department of Agriculture (formerly Department of Agriculture and Rural Development).

The exhibition focuses on significant socio-economic achievements of the renovation period and on promoting cooperation and attracting foreign investment for stable development of Vietnam Agriculture in new period.

Building new rural areas is a national target program which involves general strength of the entire politic system and people throughout the country. It is expected that the exhibition will raise people’s awareness of building new rural areas in the period of 2011-2020.
