The Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has asked the International Organisation of Migration (IOM) in Hanoi and Mali to take measures to assist Vietnamese citizens in Mali in the face of the current unstable security there.
The MoFA has also suggested that agencies, organisations and individuals should tell their employees and relatives who are working and living in Mali to contact the IOM in Mali for being evacuated to safe areas or helped to return home in cases of emergency.
