The house, a national historical relic classified by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, was one of the secret facilities of the Provisional Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam from February 1930 to October 1930. It was the place where  comrade Tran Phu drafted the Party Political Thesis.

In October 1930, the First Conference of the Central Party Committee in Hong Kong (China) adopted the Political Thesis and elected the official Central Committee’s members. Comrade Tran Phu was elected the first General Secretary of the Party.

On behalf of the delegation, the Hanoi Party Secretary wrote in the relic’s remembrance album: “We promise to follow the way that the late general secretary outlined. We are determined to build Vietnam to a strong country, and an equitable, democratic, civilized society; to build the capital of Hanoi as a heroic, cultural, civilized and elegant city.”

* The same day, 200 youths in Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province, gathered at the late Party General Secretary Tran Phu’s tomb in Tung Anh commune, Duc Tho district, to recall his life and career, marking the leader’s 113th birth anniversary.

Young participants from local schools lit candles and offered incense and flowers to the Party General Secretary. They also heard stories and watched images of the general secretary and his revolutionary life.

The event helped Ha Tinh’s youths learn more about  the great contribution of comrade Tran Phu in the struggle for national liberation and refueled them with patriotism and responsibility for the national construction and protection cause.
