Senior Captain Nguyen Van Toan, Editor-in-Chief of the Hai Quan Viet Nam (Vietnam Navy) newspaper, said he is impressed by the new leader's inaugural speech, in which he said his new role as the General Secretary of the CPV Central Committee carries great responsibilities amid the expectations of officials, party members and people for the country’s robust development in the coming time.

According to Capt. Toan, the speech of the new Party chief has consolidated the confidence among officials, party members and people in the Party's leadership, helping affirm Vietnam’s position in the international arena as a peaceful nation with development and political stability.
Meanwhile, Bui Thi Loan, Deputy General Director of Shinec Joint Stock Company, recalled General Secretary To Lam’s speech which laid stress on solidarity, coordination, and agreement of the whole Party, people and military to successfully carry out the set targets.
Amid challenges and complicated and unpredictable developments in the world, Vietnam has attained standout socio-economic development and diplomatic results, she said, attributing the results to the sound and timely leadership of the Party and State, as well as the innovation, determination, and aspiration of the people and political system.
According to Loan, the Party leader’s priorities that will be implemented right after the personnel consolidation work will be a source of inspiration and encouragement for the business community, helping promote patriotism, national resilience, devotion and the spirit of respecting the law among enterprises.
