The Government’s March meeting was held in Hanoi on April 5 under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Deputy Prime Ministers Nguyen Sinh Hung, Pham Gia Khiem and Truong Vinh Trong.
During the meeting, Cabinet members focused their discussions on six key issues relating to the Government’s the draft programme of action to implement the Resolution of the 10th Party Central Committee’s 4th plenary meeting regarding the Vietnam Strategy on the Sea until 2020, project to develop Vietnam’s capital market until 2010 with a vision to 2020; report collecting opinions on the draft decree on inspectors and their collaborators presented by Minister and Chairman of the Government Office Doan Manh Giao, the draft decree on trade development promotion in areas facing difficulties, and the regulation on releasing and supplying information for press agencies. They also gave opinions on the report on administrative reform in the first quarter of 2007, the report on socio-economic development, domestic market and import-export activities in March and the first quarter of 2007, the report on urban construction and management work and the report on corruption prevention and control in the first quarter of 2007.
As scheduled, the meeting will conclude on April 6.
