PANO – A delegation of young people, including five doctors from the provincial border guard, in Quang Tri province has completed a voluntary activity, as part of the “Youth Month” programme launched nationwide, in Sephon district, Sevanakhet province, Laos.
The group presented over 600 notebooks, 100 sets of hats and clothes, sports equipment, five hundred kilogrammes of salt, 10 boxes of medicines to local poor people.
During the four-day trip, over 2,000 local people were given free check-ups and medicine by the delegation.
The Vietnamese youths also cooperated with Laotian young people to hold sports and arts performances.
