The Q&A session will take place from June 4-6 and be broadcast on national television and radio channels.

N.A. Chairman Tran Thanh Man will deliver the opening and closing remarks at this session, and preside over the questioning of each field.

An overview of a session during the seventh sitting of the 15th National Assembly

The Minister of National Resources and Environment will answer queries on the management, exploitation and protection of national marine resources; the implementation of policies and laws on water security; measures to prevent and combat drought, saltwater intrusion, and the lack, decline, and pollution of water sources; solutions for research, exploration, exploitation and use of mineral resources as construction materials, and rare resources and minerals.

The Minister of Industry and Trade will be questioned about the management, supervision, and protection of consumer rights in e-commerce activities; solutions to boost exports, promote the implementation of free trade agreements (FTAs) and remove difficulties for businesses amidst of the complicated and unpredictable world situation; the implementation of policies and laws to develop supporting and mechanical industries, especially in serving agricultural, forestry, and fishery processing, and agricultural and rural development.

Meanwhile, the Auditor General of the State Audit Office of Vietnam (SAV) will clarify issues related to responsibilities and solutions to overcome the situation where businesses and projects are audited but violations still occur; the implementation of conclusions and recommendations of the SAV, the prevention and combat of corruption and negative phenomena in state audit activities; and solutions to overcome overlapping inspections and auditing work.

The Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism is scheduled to be questioned about the recruitment, training and policies for athletes and artists; the generation of jobs for them after they reach the peak in their career; the implementation of tasks and solutions to stimulate demand and restore tourism in 2024 and the following years; measures to develop night tourism products; and specific policies to attract investment in cultural, sports and tourism activities in ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and other ministers will give further explanations on relevant issues.

On June 6 morning, the Prime Minister (or an authorized Deputy Prime Minister) will clarify related issues and answer questions raised by N.A. deputies.
