Netherlands’ enterprises and corporations led by the Minister of Development Co-operation Bert Koenders and Minister of Foreign Trade Frank Heemskerk will pay a visit to
Vietnam from March 15 to explore opportunities for investment. These Dutch businesses are operating in water treatment and technology, production of equipment of food processing, mechanics and agriculture.
The guests will work with Vietnamese businesses in Hanoi on March 17 and in Ho Chi Minh three days later.
The Netherlands is now Europe’s second-biggest investor in Vietnam with committed capital of around 2.4 billion USD.
In 2007, the Netherlands’ import value from Vietnam reached 700 million USD and its export volume to Vietnam stayed at 400 million USD.
