During the meeting, N.A. deputies informed voters about the outcomes of the 15th N.A.’s fifth session and the provincial N.A. delegation’s activities at the event.
Accordingly, after 23 working days, the N.A.’s fifth session was concluded successfully, approving eight laws, 17 resolutions, and giving comments on nine other bills, among others.
Voters in An Tay and Tan Hung communes expressed their delight at the session’s results and the contribution of Binh Duong province’s N.A. deputies.
In a democratic atmosphere, voters from An Tay commune mentioned that the local drainage system has become degraded and needs repairing and upgrading. Also, they made suggestions to the province’s leaders to build more schools and ensure textbooks for school-shifting students.
Meanwhile, voters from Tan Hung commune focused on problems in addressing suspended projects in the locality; improving the quality of medical examination and treatment; as well as surmounting difficulties in automobile registration, to name but a few.

Speaking at the event, Sr. Lt. Gen. Nguyen Tan Cuong thanked the voters for their enthusiastic comments, and briefed them on outstanding achievements of the fifth session, socio-economic and defense and security achievements of the country and Binh Duong province over the past time.
The deputy defense minister hoped that local people would always place absolute trust in the Party and State’s guidelines and policies and heighten their awareness of fighting against plots and tricks of hostile forces and acts of sabotage against Vietnam’s revolution, contributing to ensuring political security, social safety and order in the locality, attracting investment, promoting socio-economic development, and raising the life quality of local people.
Gen. Cuong also required local functional agencies to settle voters’ petitions as soon as possible.
