Ho Chi Minh City on June 12.
The Cuban NA Chairman met with the Secretary of the municipal Party Committee, Le Thanh Hai who confirmed the city's desires and efforts to increase multi-faceted cooperation with Cuba.
The Cuban guest expressed his belief that sharing time-honoured friendship as well as the ideal of socialism, Cuba and Vietnam will maximize efforts to increase their ties and determine new areas for cooperation.
While in the city, the Cuban NA Chairman toured the Ho Chi Minh Museum, the site of the Cu Chi Tunnels, the museum for war remnants and the Tan Tao Industrial Zone.
The Cuban guest also visited children exposed to Agent Orange defoliant sprayed by US troops over the Hoa Binh-Tu Du village.
