PANO – The Traffic Police Department under the Ministry of Public Security in association with the Ministry of Education and Training, and Japan’s Mainichi Newspaper Group on September 14 held an awarding ceremony for the “Doraemon with traffic safety” in Vietnam 2016 slogan contest.

Among 24,257 entries, 20,132 have been composed by kids aged six to 15 and the remainders are from adolescents.

Presenting prizes to winners

12 best slogans in the 6-15 group were awarded. Luan Anh Tuyet, a student at Ngan Son ethnic boarding school, Bac Kan province, was the winner of the contest with the slogan “Niem vui theo em den truong la su an toan tren tung buoc di” (The joy on my way to school is safety in every step). Ten most standout slogans of the 16 year old and above group also won prizes.

The program will continue to promoting traffic safety at primary and secondary schools, the traffic police force and related agencies’ offices nationwide. Additionally, traffic safety classes will be opened at primary schools nationwide this September and October.
