PANO – 226 doctors and 418 medical workers of ethnic minority groups have graduated from the Military Medical Academy. These new graduates will return to their native villages to serve local people in remote areas, said leaders of the academy at a conference held on January 16.

At present, the Academy is training 400 doctors from 29 ethnic minority groups in the Central Highlands. These students have been given more favourable conditions to study and to take part in all activities during their courses at the academy like other students.

Every year, the Academy sends doctors to remote areas to give free health check-ups to local people.
