N.A. Chairman Tran Thanh Man speaks at the 15th National Assembly's 10th session.

This is a vivid demonstration of the principle that the law must take a step ahead, paving the way for innovation and using the lives and interests of the people as the measure of policy, Chairman Man affirmed.

He shared that the draft laws cover almost all key sectors, with many involving new and continuously evolving issues. They institutionalize new guidelines and resolutions of the Party in a timely manner, with a focus on removing institutional bottlenecks, especially in land, investment, planning, construction, environment, and energy sectors; stabilizing the corporate bond and real estate markets, among others.

The N.A. will also review government reports on the results of implementing the socio-economic development plan, state budget, and public investment plan for 2025; and the implementation of N.A resolutions on the five-year socio-economic development plan for the 2021-2025 period, economic restructuring, medium-term public investment, national finance, and public debt management.

Based on these, the legislative body will consider and decide on the socio-economic development plan, state budget estimates, central budget allocation plans, and public investment plan for 2026; as well as the national five-year financial plan and the medium-term public investment plan for 2026-2030.

In addition, it will review and decide on adjustments to the national master plan for the 2021-2030 period; approve foreign affairs-related agreements as proposed by the State President; and consider and make decisions on personnel matters within its authority. Additionally, the session’s agenda allocates time for the National Assembly to discuss and provide feedback on draft documents to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress.
