The spirit of “constant action” ran like a red thread through the Congress documents and discussions. Drawing on the realities of the 40-years of the renewal process (Doi moi) and the outcomes of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the challenges facing national development were addressed frankly, without evasion. Objectives, tasks, and solutions were clearly, scientifically, and systematically defined, with theoretical and practical significance, sufficient to be transformed into a powerful driving force for national development.

An overview of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam |
A strategic vision and new development mindset were clearly reflected in the way forward charted for the country: rapid development must go hand in hand with sustainability; independence and self-reliance must be firmly upheld while fully mobilizing internal strengths and pro-actively deepening international integration. This choice demonstrates the maturity of strategic thinking and a strong sense of responsibility toward the future of the nation.
The high level of unity and consensus was also vividly demonstrated in the Congress’s personnel work. The election of the 14th-tenure Party Central Committee, comprising outstanding cadres distinguished by their integrity, intellect, prestige, and capacity, has further consolidated the people’s trust in the Party, while creating solid foundations and favorable conditions for the effective, serious, and timely implementation of the Congress’s guidelines, objectives, and solutions in real life.
From the major decisions and strategic orientations of the Congress, new momentum has been powerfully generated across society. It is confidence in the Party’s leadership, the aspiration to rise of a nation standing at the threshold of a new development opportunity, and the determination to turn resolutions into action and goals into tangible results.
Immediately following the Congress, Party committees and organizations at all levels, along with ministries, sectors, localities, and units, must urgently translate the Congress Resolution into concrete, practical programs and plans, with clearly defined tasks, timelines, and responsibilities. Efforts must focus on thoroughly addressing weak links in implementation, enhancing the role and accountability of leaders, and striving to successfully achieve the objectives set forth by the Congress.
The Vietnam People’s Army, founded, led, and trained by the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, in thoroughly grasping and implementing the Congress Resolution, must continue to firmly uphold and strengthen the Party’s absolute, direct, and comprehensive leadership; further build a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern military; continuously improve overall quality and combat power; and truly serve as the core force in firmly safeguarding the Fatherland.
Under the glorious flag of the Party, the entire Party, people, and armed forces must unite in solidarity, act resolutely and persistently, transform the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress into vivid reality, and propel Vietnam toward rapid and sustainable development.
