Kon Tum starts search and collection of martyrs’ remains in Laos and Cambodia
PANO - On October 24, Kon Tum province organized a ceremony to see off Team K53’s personnel who will perform mission in the 2024-2025 dry season searching for, collecting, and repatriating remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and advisors in Laos and Cambodia during wartime.

During the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Kon Tum provincial People’s Committee and Head of the provincial Steering Committee 515 Y Ngoc emphasized that Team K53 should bring into play their previous achievements, enhance solidarity to overcome difficulties, strictly comply with military discipline, and effectively conduct mass mobilization work.
On behalf of Team K53, its head Colonel Le Cong Khoa pledged to overcoming all difficulties, heightening solidarity and responsibility to accomplish all assigned duties.
Team K53 is expected to collect between 12 to 15 sets of martyrs’ remains in Laos and Cambodia during the 2024-2025 dry season.
