More than 200 showcased typical photos and objects deeply feature Southern women in the national resistance wars against the French colonists and American imperialists.
In these resistance wars, millions of Southern women with their determination and unyielding spirit fought and defeated foreign invaders and achieved glorious feats of arms.
Quite a few of them bravely laid down their lives in the battlefields and some others quietly devoted their youthfulness and fulfilled their tasks and functions of the wife and mother at the homefront, so that their husbands and children could keep their mind on their tasks in the front.
The Vietnamese women have indeed played an important role in the final victory of the national resistance wars. They are now making valuable contributions to the current national development.
