Artillery troops pay tribute to King Quang Trung in Binh Dinh province
PANO – In the framework of a festival for artillery batteries in 2022, Artillery Corps Commander Major General Nguyen Hong Phong, together with other delegates, offered incense at King Quang Trung Museum and Kinh Thien (Respect to the Heaven) Temple in Tay Son district, Binh Dinh province on April 18.

This is the place to worship and highlight special significance in history, culture and science relating to three brothers Nguyen Nhac, Nguyen Hue, Nguyen Lu, who were leaders of the Tay Son Uprising and Tay Son Dynasty in late 18th century. Among them, national hero King Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue was a genius military man who made resounding victories against internal and external enemies, with the victory of Ngoc Hoi and Dong Da on January 5 (lunar calendar) in 1789.
On this occasion, the delegates pledged to preserve and promote the heroic traditions of the national heroes and apply military art to training troops.
Meanwhile, they will also strictly organize the festival with good results while raising competence to best perform assigned tasks.
