During the program, the troops held training sessions, repaired rural roads and planted flower beds for locals. In addition, they built a gratitude house, worth VND 70 million in total, while donating fund to repair five houses and presenting 30 gifts to policy families and 100 gifts to needy students.

Troops of Signal Brigade 29 also disseminated information related to Party’s guidelines and State policies to locals and mobilized them to carry out emulation campaigns such as “The whole people unitedly establish cultural life in residential areas” or “Joining hands to build new-style rural areas.”

On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Vietnam Wounded Soldiers’ and Martyrs’ Day (July 27), the Department of Politics of Military Region 9 handed over 15 scholarships to needy students and 15 gifts, worth VND 500,000 each, to national contributors in the locality.
