As reported, Long Sap commune, Moc Chau district, was allocated with 1,900 doses of COVID-19 vaccine. After receiving the vaccine, the local authority closely worked with border troops and other relevant forces to prepare adequate vehicles, medical supplies and equipment for safe vaccine injection.

In addition, the local government mobilized relevant forces to receive and instruct local people on how to make health declarations, conduct screenings before inoculations, and monitor people’s health after the shots to ensure absolute safety for the people.

The border troops conducting COVID-19 vaccination drive

Along with the vaccination drive, the medical staff from the Border Station of Long Sap Border Gate and Long Sap commune Medical Station disseminated information about the importance of COVID-19 vaccination to the locals.

Earlier on October 14-17, the medical station collaborated with the border station to inject COVID-19 vaccine doses to 1,000 people.

Over the past time, amid the complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the medical personnel of the Border Station of Long Sap Border Gate have played a pioneering role in preventing and controlling the pandemic in border areas, contributing to protecting the health of troops and local people.

This wholeheartedness has beautified the images of Son La provincial border troops.
