Presenting rice and necessities to national contributors

Reportedly, on the occasion of Tet holiday and the Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day, the Vietnam Naval Academy annually visits and gives free health checkups and medicines to people in the locality. These activities contribute to consolidating military-civilian relations in localities where they are stationed.

* On July 21 and 22, Naval Regiment 196 held many activities to pay tribute to wounded and fallen soldiers and national contributors in Cam Ranh city.

On this occasion, 25 gifts were handed over to policy households in Cam Nghia ward, Cam Binh island commune, Cam Ranh city, Khanh Hoa province.

In addition, 30 troops from the regiment also offered incense at the War Cemetery in Cam Ranh city and Gac Ma memorial site.

This is an annual activity of the unit, contributing to promoting the Vietnamese tradition of “When drinking water, remember its source.”
