More support for people in Lao Cai
PANO - On March 1, the Military Youth Advisory Board, in coordination with the Office for Mass Affairs of the Department of Politics of Military Region 2 and An Phuc Charity Club, organized an event to donate livestock to support residents in A Mu Sung and A Lu communes, Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province.
At the yard in front of the A Mu Sung commune People's Committee, a large crowd gathered early in the morning to welcome the delegation. The team distributed gifts to 482 households in A Mu Sung, including 14,000 chickens, 20 pigs, and 2 buffalos.
Speaking at the event, Secretary of the A Mu Sung Commune Party Committee Bui Van Manh expressed heartfelt gratitude, recalling that Typhoon Yagi in September 2024 had caused significant losses in lives and property in the area. He noted that the given livestock was a meaningful contribution and would significantly aid locals in recovering from the typhoon's impact.

Principal of A Lu Commune Primary School Vu Van Minh shared that these gifts not only enhance the children’s learning environment but also motivate both teachers and students to work harder in the upcoming school year.
These initiatives underscore the traditional Vietnamese spirit of “supporting those in need,” fostering solidarity between the military and the people, and enhancing the image of “Uncle Ho's soldiers” in the current context.
