On April 15, Army Officers Training School No. 2 presented 20,000 medical masks to the Ho Chi Minh City Border Guard Command.
Thanking the school for the meaningful gift, Senior Colonel Nguyen Duy Thang, Political Commissar of the Ho Chi Minh Border Guard, said that the unit very much needs masks and other medical equipment as it has to work in a high-risk environment. Its on-duty troops often provide people in border areas and foreign tourists with medical masks.
The same day, the command received 5,000 antibacterial masks, 100 protective hats, and three body temperature meters from the Women’s Union chapter of Tan Binh district.

They also visited and presented gifts to on-duty troops at checkpoints along the border in Long An and Tay Ninh provinces and troops under Division 5.
* Meanwhile, Ms. Dinh Thi Thu in Cam An ward, Hoi An city, Quang Nam province donated VND 70 million to support the poor and those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier, Thu contributed nearly VND 45 million to Quang Nam province’s Women’s Union to support people in need.
