In Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, the Military Command of Dat Do district under the provincial Military Command, in collaboration with Hung Hoa Pagoda in Dat Do town held a program to present 15 mobile phones to needy students with good academic results in the locality. These gifts aimed to help needy students with online learning during the pandemic time.
On the same day, the Red Cross Society of Chau Duc district of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, in collaboration with the Blood Transfusion Center of Cho Ray Hospital in Ho Chi Minh City held the third blood donation drive in 2021.

During the event, more than 220 officials, civil servants, youth and local people donated 215 units of blood.
Reportedly, since the beginning of 2021, the Red Cross Society of Chau Duc district has hosted various blood donation activities, collecting more than 1,600 blood units for different hospitals.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the Labor Federation of Binh Tan district held the “Zero VND market” activity to distribute vegetables and fruits to more than 300 needy members of Youth Union and workers in the locality.

Through the event, the organizing panel aimed to help young people and workers overcome difficulties caused by the pandemic and spread a massage of love and sharing to everyone.
In Binh Duong province, five mobile clinics were launched to assist the health sector in containing the COVID-19 pandemic and taking care of people’s health in the new normal condition. These clinics are in charge of monitoring those enterprises which are suspected of having employees infected with COVID-19 and applying different prevention and control measures if COVID-19 cases are reported.

Also in the province, the provincial Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control saw off 60 officials, lecturers and students from Can Tho City who had been supporting the province in the pandemic fight from late August.
At the meeting, the province’s leaders thanked volunteers for their wholehearted support and affirmed that their contribution had greatly helped the province contain the virus.
