Troops of Division 5 get on the coach to depart for Binh Duong to fight COVID-19 |
* On July 26, Division 5 of Military Region 7 sent 500 troops from Regiment 271 to support people in Binh Duong province to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. The division also collaborated with local authorities to provide necessary knowledge and skills in COVID-19 prevention and control for relevant forces.
* On July 25 and 26, Division 9 of Army Corps 4 in collaboration with Cu Chi district Fatherland Front Committee delivered necessities to needy people in Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City.
The necessities included 3,000 kg of rice, 1,200 kg of fish, 300 boxes of instant noodles, 6,000 eggs, 1,500 kg of vegetables and so on. The gifts were donated by the unit’s troops and local sponsors.
* On July 26, affiliated units of Army Corps 4 held send-off ceremonies for troops on their way to Binh Duong province to assist people in the fight against the pandemic.
The corps mobilized 400 troops to undertake missions in concentrated quarantine areas and COVID-19 treatment facilities.
* The same day, the Yen Sao Khanh Hoa State-owned One-member Limited Liability Company handed over three tons of rice and 500 packages of distilled water, worth 100 million VND in total, to the Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command.
The gifts will be delivered to the pandemic-hit and concentrated quarantine areas of the province to assist locals in repelling the pandemic.
* The Department of Logistics of Military Region 9 launched “zero dong” booths on July 26 to give gifts, worth 350,000 VND each, to policy beneficiaries and needy people in its stationed locality.
