Military doctors offer healthcare to flood-hit people in Son La
PANO – On August 6, the Son La Provincial Military Command in association with Military Hospital 6 of Military Region 2 sent a group of 15 military doctors and nurses to provide healthcare and first aids to people in Nam Pam, a commune in Muong La district which was seriously affected by recent flash floods.

During the day, the mission provided health check-ups and consultancy on epidemic control for over 200 locals and free medicines, worth over VND 20 million.
They also introduced measures to ensure food safety and environmental hygiene and surveyed other areas nearby to give first aids to more flood-hit people, said Senior Colonel Dinh Minh Thai, Deputy Commander of the provincial Military Command.
As planned, the mission will collaborate with local forces to spray drug to prevent unexpected epidemics after the flash-flood.
