The solid house was built on an area of 90sq.m in Thu Lum 2 hamlet, Thu Lum commune, Muong Te district at the total cost of VND 150 million, of which the Lai Chau provincial Border Guard Command and Viettel donated VND 80 million, and the remaining came from Xa’s family. Troops of Thu Lum Border Post and local people contributed 40 working days to complete the project.

Speaking at the inauguration and hand-over ceremony, Deputy Political Commissar of the Lai Chau provincial Border Guard Command Senior Colonel Le Cong Thanh emphasized that building house for needy comrades is an activity that holds deep humanitarian meaning of the military in general and the border guard force in particular.
