The effort aimed to eliminate pathogens that commonly emerge after floods, such as dysentery, E. coli, and hepatitis A virus, thereby helping protect public health, maintain environmental hygiene, and prevent potential disease outbreaks. 

During the operation, the troops worked closely with local authorities and medical personnel to spread lime powder and spray disinfectants in high-risk areas, especially at markets and densely populated residential areas.
