Gia Lai border youths launch “Green Marching” campaign
PANO - The Youth Union Organization of the Gia Lai provincial Border Guard Command and the standing board of the provincial Youth Union Organization jointly launched a “Green Marching” campaign in 2023 in Ia Mo Nong commune, Chu Pah district on July 7.

At the event, the organizers presented 10 gifts, each worth VND 700,000, to families of policy beneficiaries, wounded and fallen soldiers, and national contributors in the district. They also handed over five warning signs on drowning prevention, and 20 helmets to local Youth Union members.
The Youth Union Organization of Chu Pah district took this chance to present gifts to 40 disadvantaged children, handed over two livelihood models, valued at VND 7 million each, to two young families in Ia Kreng commune. Meanwhile, the Youth Union Organization of Chu Pah Police presented seven light bulbs, totally worth VND 13 million, to the counterpart from Ia Mo Nong commune.
As part of the program, the organizers disseminated information to raise Youth Union members and youths’ awareness of the State laws to help reduce violations of law, contributing to upholding local political security, social order and safety and developing local socio-economic development.

Youth Union Organization of the Gia Lai provincial Border Guard Command also provided participants with a briefing on national border and basic contents of the Vietnam Border Guard Law via some interesting games, including the contest entitled “I love my national border” attracting over 250 Youth Union members and students.
The campaign was among a wide range of activities launched by the provincial border youths, during which their vanguard role and creative, voluntary spirit was promoted, contributing to the provincial border guard force’s excellent completion of defense-security duties.
