Visiting national contributors Long Dat Convalescence Center in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province 
Over the past time, the center has provided treatment for many sick and wounded soldiers and offered healthcare of about 3,000 national contributors in Southern provinces and cities.

Speaking at the event, General Trung said that over the past time, the unit has well popularized the traditions of “When drinking water, remember its source” and patriotism of the nation. Accordingly, the unit has also well implemented preferential policies for national contributors.

Having inquired after the soldiers and national contributors’ health, the General hoped that they would continue upholding the revolutionary tradition, thoroughly grasp the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and set bright examples for younger generations to follow.

The General Department of Logistics care for Vietnamese heroic mothers.

* The same day, the general department held the ceremony to announce the life-time care-taking for three Vietnamese heroic mothers - Mother Le Thi Mui (born 1925), Mother Huynh Thi Dich (born 1919), and Mother Tran Thi Son (born 1919) - in Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City.

During the ceremony, Deputy Political Chief of the General Department of Logistics, Senior Colonel Tran Van Thi expressed his deep gratitude to Vietnamese heroic mothers and wished them good health and happiness. He also asked all affiliated units to continue taking due care of and carrying out good policies for national contributors.
