The Ho Chi Minh municipal Border Guard Command on March 25 received 2.500 medical masks and 20 body temperature meters from the Ho Chi Minh City's Women Artist Club.
The command also directed its troops to promote management work in the shared border areas, especially between Vietnam and Cambodia, and at sea.

* On the same day, the Binh Phuoc provincial Border Guard Command was provided with medical materials by enterprises and donators.
Accordingly, 4,720 face masks, 80 liters of hand sanitizers, 200 pieces of protective medical clothing, ten liters of Cloramin B, five thermometers, 500 boxes of instant noodles, vitamins, and drugs were donated to the Command to help protect their health in the epidemic context.
Over the past time, the unit has implemented many measures in COVID-19 prevention. The unit has mobilized 28 special teams to disseminate information and distribute leaflets about the disease prevention while offering nearly 18,000 face masks for people crossing the borderline. Furthermore, 53 field teams were established along the shared borderline to prevent people from violating regulations in border crossing and to check for suspected cases of COVID-19 infection.
* The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) has just sent an official document to its members and affiliated units, calling on all officials, union members and employees to uphold solidarity through the text messaging drive "The whole nation supports COVID-19 prevention", which has been jointly launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the MoH, the VFF Central Committee, and the Vietnam Red Cross Society, via Call Centre 1407.

Supporters can join the program by texting “CV n” to 1407, of which “n” is the number of support. Each text message is equal to the contribution of at least 20,000 VND (0.86 USD) to the fund.
All of the donated money will be used to buy medical equipment, necessities for doctors and armed forces, and support COVID-19 patients and those undergoing quarantine.
* In response to the VFF Central Committee’s call on all people to support the national COVID-19 prevention effort, a delegation from the Department of Logistics of Military Region 4 visited and presented 1,000 bottles of mineral water and 10 kilograms of Hypochlorite disinfectant to the Defense-Security Education Center (Vinh University) and quarantine area at Regiment 764 (Nghe An provincial Military Command). The money was donated by troops of the department.
On this occasion, the unit also handed over nearly 200 hand sanitizers and over 500 medical masks to needy workers in the locality.
