The unit has mobilized 28 special teams to disseminate information and distribute leaflets about the disease prevention while offering nearly 18,000 face masks for people crossing the borderline. Furthermore, 53 field teams were established along the shared borderline to prevent people from violating regulations in border crossing and to check for suspected cases of COVID-19 infection.

* The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) has just sent an official document to its members and affiliated units, calling on all officials, union members and employees to uphold solidarity through the text messaging drive "The whole nation supports COVID-19 prevention", which has been jointly launched by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the MoH, the VFF Central Committee, and the Vietnam Red Cross Society, via Call Centre 1407.

All of the donated money will be used to buy medical equipment, necessities for doctors and armed forces, and support COVID-19 patients and those undergoing quarantine.

* In response to the VFF Central Committee’s call on all people to support the national COVID-19 prevention effort, a delegation from the Department of Logistics of Military Region 4 visited and presented 1,000 bottles of mineral water and 10 kilograms of Hypochlorite disinfectant to the Defense-Security Education Center (Vinh University) and quarantine area at Regiment 764 (Nghe An provincial Military Command).
