Company 32 takes care of Vietnamese heroic mother
PANO – On June 2, Company 32 of the General Department of Logistics held a ceremony to mark its official start of taking care of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Ngo Thi Quyt in Ward 5, Go Vap district, Ho Chi Minh City, on the occasion of the 70th Vietnamese Wounded Soldiers' and Martyrs' Day (July 27).
Company 32 presenting gifts to Mother Ngo Thi Quyt
Mother Ngo Thi Quyt, whose husband and son sacrificed themselves in the anti-American war for national salvation, received the title “Vietnamese Heroic Mother” in January 2015. This good deed of the company showed its gratitude to great contributions and sacrifice of Mother Ngo Thi Quyt in the cause of national liberation.
So far, the company has been taking care of eight Vietnamese heroic mothers, of whom four still live. In 2017 alone, the company built eight gratitude houses and presented gifts to policy families totaling nearly VND 1 billion.
