“Coast guards stand side by side with ethnic minority people and religious followers” program held in Binh Dinh
PANO - The Coast Guard Region 2 Command and the Binh Dinh provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission co-held a program titled “Coast guards stand side by side with ethnic minorities people and religious followers” on September 26.
During the event, officers from the Coast Guad Region 2 Command updated ethnic minority people in An Lao district with information related to national sea and islands’ situation, policies for ethnic minority groups, mass mobilization work in ethnic minority areas.

According to Senior Colonel Tran Hong Que, Deputy Political Commissar of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, the command took the occasion to hand over 100 Uncle Ho’s portraits and present 100 gifts, worth VND 1 million each, to needy ethnic people in An Lao district, Binh Dinh province.

Meanwhile, the command’s working mission visited and presented gifts to An Lao Ethnic Boarding School; gave a television to the school’s library and 20 gifts to ethnic minority students with excellent academic results.
