The festival aimed to introduce police cadres, cadets and troops books about the glorious tradition, building, combat and development of their service and to intensively build a book-reading movement and carry out other life-long learning activities in libraries, contributing to raising cultural awareness and augmenting the spiritual life of the instructors, cadets and troops.

It also helped promote coordination, support and improve the quality as well as efficiency of activities launched by archive centers and libraries of People’s Police academies and schools.

During the two-day festival under the theme “People’s Police Cadres and Troops Studying and Implementing Uncle Ho’s Six Teachings”, each participating unit will introduce one or three books kept in their libraries and in praise of the Party and Uncle Ho, the history of the people’s police force, and role models in studying Uncle Ho’s six teachings.
