They carried out “Quang Trung Campaign” launched by the Prime Minister amidst complex weather conditions and difficult mountainous terrain in the South-central and Central Highlands regions after storms and floods.
In an exclusive interview given to the People’s Army Newspaper, Senior Colonel Nguyen Minh Duc, Political Commissar of the Division emphasized that upon receiving orders, the unit rapidly deployed forces and equipment to the affected areas. Despite muddy roads, landslides, and remote locations, the troops manually transported materials to deeply affected households with high determination of working day and night to complete the assignment.

The Division prioritized families suffering severe damage, policy-beneficiary households, and disadvantaged families; and ensuring practical, durable housing suited to local customs and living conditions. Safety was strictly ensured throughout the mission.
According to Col. Duc, political and ideological education played an important role, helping officers and soldiers maintain determination during prolonged hardship. The Division’s Party Committee and Chain-of-command emphasized the humanitarian significance of supporting local residents, reinforcing the responsibility and exemplary role of cadres and Party members, many of whom worked directly alongside soldiers in harsh conditions.
During the campaign implementation, close coordination with local Party committee and authorities was maintained, in matters ranging from planning to implementation, ensuring transparency, and effective coordination with grassroots officials, village patriarchs, reputable persons, local armed forces, militia members, and youth, thereby creating synergy and strengthening close-knit bond between the military and people.
The greatest value of the campaign, according to the Division’s leader, lies not only in the number of houses built and repaired, but in its profound political and social significance. Practical and meaningful actions by the Air Defense - Air Force officers and soldiers have reinforced public trust in the Vietnam People’s Army and contributed to building a strong people’s heart posture.

In Quang Trung Campaign, Air Defense Division 375 has mobilized more than 250 officers and soldiers and 18 vehicles. On December 6, 2025, the Division simultaneously launched the construction of all seven houses. After nearly one month, the projects were completed with more than 6,000 working days, meeting technical standards and quality requirements. The Division also mobilized organizations and individuals to donate VND 86 million to support flooring, wall painting, concrete yards, and fences for the seven households. |
