On the day of moving into new houses, flood victims in Gia Lai receive many practical and valuable gifts by local agencies and units. |
Le Thi Hoa’s new house is one of 43 houses handed over in the first phase. The construction was directly carried out by troops by Defensive Area Command Region 6 - An Nhon Dong, and completed after 25 days and nights. The house has a solid structure, including a living room, bedroom, kitchen, and auxiliary works, with a total material cost of approximately VND 170 million.
Emotional on the day of receiving the new house, Le Thi Hoa said that Storm Kalmaegi, the 13th storm hitting Vietnam in 2025, completely destroyed her family’s old house. Thanks to the concern of the Party, State, local authorities, benefactors, and the dedication of officers and soldiers in transporting materials and building the house, they now have a solid home to welcome the Lunar New Year 2026.
