PANO – Rescue ship Con Co 01 of the Con Co Island Border Guard Command on September 21 safely towed a troubled trawler with nine fishermen on board ashore.
Earlier, trawler QNg 92647 TS of Le Anh Vu with nine fishermen on board was about to sink due to leakages in its desk.

The troubled trawler was about 3 nautical miles off the southwest of Con Co island.

Receiving the information from the Department of Search and Rescue under the General Department and the Border Guard Command of Quang Tri province, Con Co Islands Border Guards cooperated with Radar Station of the Navy to search the distressed trawler.
At 4pm, the ship approached the trawler and then took all fishermen to shore.
* On the same day, fishing ship QNg 92265 TS, captained by Phan Van He (Quang Ngai province) with fifteen fishermen on board, was stranded due to broken equipment. Upon receiving the mayday signal, the Border Guards of Post 208 rushed to rescue the trawler. On September 22nd, border guards towed the trawler ashore.
