Engineering troops to boost training for mastering equipment

According to Commanding Officer of the Brigade Senior Colonel Mai Van Thanh, in order to meet task requirements in the current context, over the past years, the unit has been equipped with modern vehicles, such as cranes QY-25E, multi-functional rescue vehicles with 128 equipment items, and fireproof trucks, among others. Therefore, to help troops soon master the newly-assigned vehicles and equipment, the unit launched an emulation campaign in this field.

Witnessing the troops performing rescuing victims as fire occurs in a building, the PAN’s reporters realized their high determination to master vehicles and equipment. Despite complicated terrains facing the troops, they quickly found a way to approach the scene and save victims.

Non-commissioned Senior Captain Nguyen Dinh Huynh used to be a crane operator and he then was assigned to operating an aerial ladder of the firefighting vehicle of the unit. Initially, he found it hard to perform this task. However, promoting the spirit of the emulation campaign, currently, he could easily operate the vehicle thanks to his great efforts. In addition to studying by themselves via documents about the new vehicles and technologies, they also joined extra training sessions with the assigned vehicles.

Besides, the unit has also compiled training lesson plans for each person on techniques and methods of using equipment in search and rescue missions.
