PANO – The Military Science Council of the Ministry of National Defence on July 8th reviewed and approved a scientific research project on the influence of external relations on Vietnam’s national defence work.
The project holder was the ministry’s Military Strategy Institute, with Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Chi Vinh, Deputy Minister of National Defence, as the project manager.
After listening to a report from the project’s head and critical analysis from the council’s members, Chairman of the Council Senior Lieutenant General Do Ba Ty, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army cum Deputy Minister of National Defence, highly appreciated its specialization and applicability, based on Marxism – Leninism and Ho Chi Minh ideology.
The project will be a foundation to help the Party, State and Army draw up national defence guidelines and policies, general Ty added.
