Regiment 916 completes command and staff exercise

Themed “Regiment 916 coordinates with relevant forces to protect Vietnam’s sovereignty in border areas, seas and islands, and skies,” the exercise had four phases: Shifting combat readiness status, preparing for and conducting operations, and restoring combat strength.

Field activities included countering enemy air attacks, maneuvering forces and equipment to reserve positions, and conducting air defense operations.

This year, the regiment built robust fortifications with new content in line with the current context, and ensured secret and safe maneuvers.

The exercise helped the unit finalize operational plans in accordance with assigned tasks, contributing to enhanced combat strength and the firm protection of national sovereignty in the skies.
