At the meeting
Reportedly, in the first half of this year, the committee directed popularization of the country’s important political events and issues most concerned by the public. As a result, timely orientations in ideology and for the public were given to troops and people, contributing to firmly maintaining the Party’s ideological front in the army.

Moreover, training courses were held for forces engaged in the work to help improve their expertise and skills while political education for troops was carried out seriously in line with higher levels’ instructions.

Notably, military units actively participated in the fight against hostile forces’ wrong and distorted viewpoints in an intensive and convincing manner.

Military press agencies closely followed their political missions and teamed up with civilian press agencies to organize information dissemination drives in an effort to orient the public opinion and combat hostile forces’ distorted and made-up information.

In the second half of this year, military agencies and units continue studying the Party’s, CMC’s, Ministry of National Defense’s resolutions and directives as well as comprehensively carrying out measures on information and popularization to ensure ideological orientations for all troops.

They should ensure high quality and efficiency of the work because various important events will take place across the country.

They should be active in forecasting situations, especially hostile forces’ schemes and tricks to have timely information responses and measures to fight against wrong viewpoints.

Besides, they were urged to embrace troop’s thoughts, strengthen regularity of their units, observe military discipline and build strong Party cells and units and to make each agency and unit a firm ideological fortress of the Party in the army.
