MND leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh
PANO – A delegation of the Central Military Commission (CMC) and Ministry of National Defense (MND), led by Defense Minister General Ngo Xuan Lich, offered incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh and laid wreaths at the Monument dedicated to Heroes and Martyrs on Bac Son Street on Apr 30 to celebrate the 45th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (Apr 30, 1975-2020).
The delegation included Senior Lieutenant General Phan Van Giang, member of the Party Central Committee, permanent member of the CMC, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnamese People’s Army (VPA) and Deputy Defense Minister; Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Defense Minister; and representatives from the General Staff, General Department of Politics and MND’s affiliated units.

In the solemn atmosphere, the delegation respectfully laid wreaths and expressed gratitude to the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, who sacrificed his own life for the country’s independence and unification and for the freedom and happiness of the people.
The delegation then offered incense to commemorate war heroes and martyrs, who laid down their lives for national independence, freedom, and unification, at their monument on Bac Son Street.
