PANO - Judicial activities conducted by Military Zone 5 have been much improved in quality and effectiveness.
The assessment was made by Lieutenant General Dao Duy Minh, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics, Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of Judicial Reform under the Defence Ministry, in his inspecting visit to the zone on May 22nd in Danang City.
General Minh led a delegation from the committee to check the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution 49 on the judicial reform strategy by 2020 and Resolution 67 of the Central Military Commission on directing the implementation of the judicial reform strategy in the army by 2020.
General Minh stressed that the zone’s party committee, high command and judicial agencies had grasped and strictly carried out Plan 2756 of the Defence Ministry’s Steering Committee of Judicial Reform. He also asked the zone’s senior leaders and party members to continue seriously studying Plan 2756 to have a thorough understanding and consensus on the Party, the Central Military Commission and the Defence Ministry’s judicial reform strategy.
General Minh recommended that the two above resolutions should be carried out in close attachment to the situation of the zone. Besides, the reform process should change to meet demands on building the army in the new situation.
