Military unit joins blood donation drive
PANO - Military Hospital 15 and Army Corps 15, in association with the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization and Gia Lai General Hospital, on June 6 held the first blood donation drive in 2019.

The event drew the participation of over 300 troops, youth union members and staff members from agencies and units under Army Corps 15 stationed in Yen The ward, Pleiku city, Gia Lai province.
Entitled “Love other people like yourself “and “Every donated blood-drop saves a life,” the drive collected 250 blood units for emergency and treatment of patients.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Thai Ba Mao, Head of the Propaganda Department of Army Corps 15, this is the fifth consecutive year that the unit has organized the voluntary blood donation activities.
The drive is also one of the meaningful and practical activities for public health, and receives the enthusiastic response and participation from troops, youth union members, and employees.
