PANO - Military Hospital 103 under the Vietnam Military Medical University (VMMU) on October 26 kicked off a youth creative technology festival in 2016 with the aim of assessing the youth’s activities in doing scientific research and technological innovation.
Present at the opening ceremony were Major General, Prof., Dr. Do Quyet, VMMU Director; Senior Colonel Tran Viet Tien, Director of Military Hospital 103; heads of the university’s departments, young technicians, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and engineers from the hospital.

As many as 31 technicians from surgical, internal and para-clinical departments will compete in the festival. The organizing panel will award 16 outstanding projects.
Over the past years, the hospital’s units have actively promoted scientific research activities and encouraged young staff to participate in scientific research and technological innovation. Particularly, the units have boosted new technological applications in improving and enhancing the quality of treatment and other services for patients.
Addressing the event, Senior Colonel Tien said that the festival offered an opportunity for the hospital’s youths to show off their talents in scientific research and technological innovation.
