Hanoi Capital Command meets with U.N. peacekeepers
PANO – The Hanoi Capital Command held a gathering on November 25 to assign tasks to female non-commissioned officers, who will join the Engineering Company Rotation 1 to be deployed to a U.N. peacekeeping mission in Abyei.

The event was attended by Major General Bui Trong Quynh, Second-in-Command and Chief-of-Staff of the Hanoi Capital Command.
Eight female non-commissioned officers have been carefully selected from affiliated units of the Hanoi Capital Command in term of ethics, physical heath and expertise.
Speaking at the gathering, General Quynh encouraged the servicewomen to overcome hardships to fulfill their assigned missions. He underlined that they should promote solidarity, self-study to improve capability and follow regulations of the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei.
