Hai Duong armed forces accelerate COVID-19 prevention and control
PANO - The Hai Duong Provincial Military Command held an online conference for representatives of the local military commands of the province on February 22 to discuss measures to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking at the conference, Senior Colonel Pham Huu Quyen, Deputy Commander and head of the steering board for COVID-19 prevention and control under the Provincial Military Command held that as of 5:30 pm on February 22, the locality has identified 611 positive COVID-19 cases while isolating 15,051 people in 95 quarantine areas. The provincial military command has sent 125 troops to assist with disease prevention and control in quarantine areas.
Reportedly, the provincial military command has mobilized 2,698 troops for the COVID-19 fight and asked for support from the Military Region 3 Command.
The unit is requiring all troops to continue embracing higher levels’ instructions and directives on COVID-19 prevention and control, especially in quarantine areas, while also promptly reporting the pandemic’s developments to the unit’s steering board.
