General Staff honors outstanding, promising military youths in 2021
PANO – The General Staff held a meeting on March 24 to honor outstanding and promising military youths in 2021.
Major General Chu Van Doan, Director of the Political Department of the General Staff chaired the meeting.
Reportedly, over the past time, the General Staff’s youth movements and ideological education and orientation work have been comprehensively implemented with close attachment to the unit’s political missions.

Meanwhile, the movement “Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and lifestyle” in association with the campaign “Promoting tradition, devoting talents, deserving Uncle Ho’s soldiers,” and other programs gained encouraging achievements.
Also, the General Staff’s youths have always taken the lead in carrying out missions in all fields, seriously exercised combat readiness, effectively fought the COVID-19 pandemic, trained hard, and achieved high results at the Army Games, national and international competitions.

With these achievements of 2021, the Department of Political Affairs proposed the General Staff present certificates of merit and honor 10 outstanding youths and two promising youths.
Applauding the remarkable achievements gained by the General Staff’s youths as well as outstanding and promising youths in 2021, Major General Chu Van Doan required the youths to continue promoting the vanguard role of the young generation in the military, contributing positively to beautifying the image of Vietnamese young generation in general and the military youth in particular.
