PANO – The Central Military Commission and Defense Ministry held a meeting with the deputies of the 14th National Assembly (NA) who are working at the Defense Ministry.

Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission and Defense Minister, General Ngo Xuan Lich, chaired the meeting.

As many as 36 military officers have been elected as deputies of the 14th NA.

At the meeting, General Lich stressed that military NA deputies have a good tradition, successfully fulfilling their missions at NA of all previous terms and receiving high credibility from nationwide voters.

He asked military officer-deputies of the 14th NA to heighten their role and responsibility to the Party, State and voters and contribute significantly to the whole nation’s effort to strive for a strong country, a democratic, equal and civilized society and prosperous people.

At the meeting, delegates expressed their pride of representing the army at the NA and promised to successfully fulfill the honorable tasks assigned by the Party, State, army and people.
